Due to financial reasons (purchase of another instrument), a Tobias Toby Pro 5 bass guitar in very nice condition is for sale.
The guitar features a Woodhead V10 Neodym dualcoil pickup set, and 1 Zolkow electronics per pickup. This combination in the meticulously and elegantly built guitar produces a very convincing sound, and with the active EQ options, many characteristic tones can be achieved from the bass. The neck pickup, for example, can produce a quite 'precussive' sound.
The neck is extra comfortable.
It was set up at Guitar.Clinic and received new Dean Markley Helix strings 2 days ago.
The electronics were 'copied' from the Tobias Growler bass preamp.

Pots:
volume
blend
2 stacked bass/treble controls, separate for each pickup.

Switches:
for each pickup, separate series-single-parallel modes
and for each pickup, separate mid cut/flat/boost.

The peculiarity of Zolkow preamps is that the deep/mid/high frequencies can be adjusted internally if you don't like how the knobs are 'working' at the moment.

Comes with original gig bag!

A small negotiation might be possible in the coming days!!!
I might consider (bass) effect pedals, bass preamps, quality 112/212 cabinets in trade.
...or a cheaper bass guitar from a good manufacturer (Cimar, I. Roadstar, older Japanese gear and the like, JB or P, good MM copies), external sound cards might also be considered.
I would pay extra for a Markbass combo, for example.
