Maya bass guitar
Description
Unfortunately, this is no longer available, but perhaps the Related offers may be of interest.
huendeskesI am offering a very old Japanese Jazz Bass unit
(I bought it in 1984, and it wasn't young even then!)
It has sustained many scars during this time
(in its practice bass guitar days)
but considering that its wood is at least almost 40 years old..... well,..... I am expecting a buyer with expertise!
Metal truss rod in the neck.
"Slide" switches for the pickups and
original Vintage, metal-covered pickups. (2 pcs)
Equipped with an ebony neck.
I replaced the bridge saddles, the ones with two adjustment mechanisms for every two strings, with parts taken from my USA Fender Precision from that time. (I put Saller roller bridges on the Fender)
Another interesting feature is that the screws fixing its pickguard are mini Allen head.
The cover of one of the tuning machines on the headstock is missing.
The whole instrument, although it has 20 frets, is still 10 cm shorter than my current Fender Jazz Bass.
I recommend a thorough sanding, lacquering, and inspection of its electronics, although it still plays as is.
And it plays well.
I couldn't find anything similar on Maya on the net..... this Japi Bass guitar resembled mine the most, and it's even the same shape:
