A budapesti Tool tribute zenekarban, a Lootban basszozok, szóval az életem nagy részét páratlan ütemekben, lassú felépítésekben és olyan mély hangokban töltöm, amit a mellkasodban érzel. Emellett tanítok is — úgy, ahogy szerettem volna, hogy engem tanítsanak.
A legtöbb óra addig temet skálákba, amíg a hangszer házi feladatnak nem tűnik. Én fordítva csinálom. Igazi zenén és improvizáción keresztül tanulsz, mert a groove, a ritmus és a feeling onnan jön. Foglalkozunk azzal, amitől a súlyos, türelmes zene működik: a dobossal való összezárással, a feszültség tartásával, a 7-es vagy 5-ös lüktetéssel anélkül, hogy robotként számolnál — és azzal, hogy a csend ugyanannyit számít, mint a hangok.
Kezdő, megrekedt középhaladó vagy gitárról váltó — mind jöhet. A basszus nem kisebb gitár; ez az alap, amin minden áll, és megmutatom, hogyan gondolkodj odalent.
A hangzással is foglalkozunk — hogyan építs súlyos, karakteres basszushangot.

I play bass in Loot, a Tool tribute band in Budapest, so I spend a lot of my life in odd time signatures, slow builds, and low end you feel in your chest. I also teach — the way I wish someone had taught me.
Most lessons bury you in scales until the instrument feels like homework. I go the other way. You learn through real music and improvisation, because that is where groove, timing, and feel actually live. We`ll get into the stuff that makes heavy, patient music work: locking with a drummer, holding tension, playing in 7 or 5 without counting like a robot, and making space matter as much as notes.
Beginner, stuck intermediate, or guitarist crossing over to bass — all welcome. Bass isn`t a smaller guitar; it`s the floor everything stands on, and I`ll show you how to think down there.
We dig into tone too — how to build a sound with real weight behind it.
8.000 Ft / hour. English / basic Hungarian. Rehearsal space in District IX, or I come to you across Pest and Buda. In-person preferred.
