huendeskesWinston RCF 1612 / DM100 dynamic microphone
Vintage Winston DM100 microphone from the old days for sale, even for collectors.
What is known about it is that it was manufactured in Italy by the RCF manufactory in the 1960s, who, besides microphones, also dealt with guitar and bass guitar amplifiers. It was the Winston brand of Klemt Echolette, which was later acquired by Dynacord.
The microphone itself is made entirely of metal and has a robust weight, likely in those days they didn't skimp on materials for microphones either. The switch on it is an impedance switch between 250 ohm and Hi-Z modes. The microphone connects with a special DIN-ended cable, which, to my knowledge, is difficult to obtain, but I am including it; the other end of the cable is XLR. It's fundamentally a stage vocal microphone, and also recommended for miking bass guitar, toms, and snare.
The microphone is in very nice condition for its age, it is in working order, and I am including the cable with it, so it can be immediately connected to a mixer, sound card, etc. Based on my personal experience, it reminds me of the sound of a Shure SM58, but it's still not one.
Can be viewed, tested, picked up in person, and I can also ship it.
