Tube combo for sale - 35W. I offer the Wharfedale TCT 35 full-tube combo, designed by Steve Grindrod - who was the lead designer of the Marshall JCM 2000 series. It's a first-series unit, now manufactured under the ALBION name. What I offer is an amplifier concept different from the Marshall sound! Two channels, independent EQ, Master volume, reverb, effects loop, 33% power reduction switch, etc. Its power tubes are 6L6s, and it has 5 x 12AX7 tubes in the front. Its sound: a completely unique tone - I recommend it for clean, semi-clean sounds, but both channels go from clean to distorted. - Channel B produces an incredibly deep tone. I recommend it for those who like a biting, scratchy, fuzzy, nasal sound. The unit has been checked and re-tubed from top to bottom, down to the last solder joint, by Bála Mezey. It hasn't been used much, it's been standing in a room _ and with the new tubes, it has hardly been run at all. I bought it from England 4-5 years ago sight unseen - but the sound is not my style - which is why I'm selling it, with its box, papers, and footswitch. It has a Celestion speaker in it, but I can also provide it with the original one. With the original speaker, the sound is very biting, with the Celestion, it's finer.
