Well, this is an instrument one could write hours about. It contains amazing innovations and technical solutions that no one else (or only one or two manufacturers) does today. The Floyd Rose tremolo in it has ball bearings, no knife edge to dull, returns beautifully and accurately, and holds tuning, it's indestructible. The neck is 90% wood, 10% carbon fiber, and has no truss rod, so it never needs adjustment and is not sensitive to temperature changes. Otherwise, it's very comfortably thin (not Ibanez JEM thin, perhaps a touch thicker, which makes it more comfortable) and super fast, with great fret spacing. The fretboard is rosewood. The guitar has a 0 fret, so even open strings sound as if they were fretted. This results in a very balanced sound, but the 0 fret also sets the string height from the headstock side, and plays a role in tuning stability.

What's worth knowing about this particular guitar: it's a 1998 piece, but apart from one or two minor flaws (like the damage to the pickguard visible in the picture), it's in beautiful condition. I had the frets dressed and set up at V52 recently. The original pickups have been replaced with Suhr Doug Aldrich bridge & neck, and the middle one with a Suhr Fletcher-Landaura. The humbucker pickups can be split by pulling out the tone pot, producing incredibly clean sounds. There are no complaints about the sound, the instrument sounds fantastic in every position. The whole instrument beats any Superstrat-type guitar, it's in a league of its own.
