A 'metal vibe' Telecaster from the 80s, still made in Japan.
GOTOH tuners, FERNANDES active pickups. They resemble EMG SA a bit,
but are more natural. Excellent mature, singing tone. Worth much more, but this is the price due to the heavily relic'd finish. No cracks, but many scratches, chips - plus there was a large sticker on the front, some film layer of which is still on. There's a small 1cm triangle at the end of the headstock that has been glued back. Truss rod works. 9V battery in the control cavity.
Sound sample attached. Recorded directly from a cheap multi-effects unit (clean/crunch/drive), so just a starting point. Trade-ins possible. With new 10-46 stainless steel strings. Frets: 10/7. The body is made with the thick lamination used in Japan in the 80s.
