Condor Stratocaster 1975 Made in Japan guitar rarity for sale!
From the legendary Lawsuit era when it was "legal" to copy Strats. (What is a Lawsuit? Look it up!)
It is difficult to determine the exact age of these guitars due to the lack of serial numbers.
All I could find out is that it was made by the small Japanese TOMBO manufactory, which is why it is rare due to its small production number. I know it's an early piece because after 1975 they were made without a neck truss rod cover, with a standard Strat nut. This one still has a Gibson-type nut. :)...but it's made of bone. Freshly installed, set up according to the book. (In the pictures, it still has the old nut)
Everything is original except for the nut.
Laminate body, maple neck, 3 period single coils, 3-way switch... no crackling, no buzzing.
The real gem of this guitar is its neck. I measured the differences compared to a USA Standard Strat.
The scale is about 1 cm shorter. Neck width at the nut: 39.4mm, 12th fret: 50.2mm
(USA Strat Neck: 43.1mm 12th: 52.2mm. Meaning it's much more graceful, thinner C-profile than the original! (See photos!) Working tuners... and a large '70s headstock.
Very comfortable for finger-rolling, in nice condition with jumbo frets! :) A real good Strat sound!!
Life has "relic"-ed it gently, but it's very COOL... scratch, lacquer crack, chip, dent, slight corrosion. Regardless, it's 100% stage-ready... it was my second guitar.
I made a short video of its sound with a Vox AC30...

I recommend it to those who love old Vintage Strats but are unwilling to spend half a million for a contemporary Fender.... this easily delivers that feeling.... just at a reduced price.
Interested in trades for a Mexican 4-5 string Jazz Bass, possibly a Squier 70's Vintage Mod. Jazz Bass, or another 4-5 string Ibanez Bass!
