records on standard cassette tapes at triple speed. 4 tracks. but up to 3 can be mixed onto 1 track. but this obviously involves a loss of sound quality.
mastering mode, simultaneous mixing of 4 tracks afterwards. bass, treble, pan, effect loop.
etc.
