For sale is a 10-year-old Szeged double bass, specifically "tuned" for rockabilly. Extremely soft gut string set, piano lacquer black finish, equipped with a Shadow rockabilly pro preamp and its 2 corresponding piezo pickups, soft pearwood instead of ebony fingerboard. The instrument has never been disassembled or repaired. When amplified (which can of course be tried out here), it sounds like you're at a Brian Setzer concert.. :) The preamp also has a mixer section that allows you to turn off the under-fingerboard piezo, or simply blend the ratio of the bass and the "clack", plus its tone control. In short, this is a very serious configuration! Please, dreamers, empty pockets, those seeking advice, and smart alecks, do not inquire. The listed price is for the instrument and its accessories. If necessary, I can include a 400W Peavey amp, which I specifically sought for this (+100,000 HUF).
