The legend. One of the best transistor amps ever made, with an unmistakable sound. The names Ted Nugent, the Melvins, Red Fang, and many other legendary bands and artists guarantee this quality. Excellent for both guitar and bass, as the Beta Lead, specifically made for guitar amps, only differs from the bass version in that it does not have built-in reverb. True 70s Sunn sound, handles any pedal perfectly. 100 W at 4 Ohms, but incredibly loud; this 100 W is not today's "hi-fi" 100 W, I've used it outdoors without PA several times (!). It is equipped with a transformer and power connector designed for the European 220-volt mains, so you don't need an adapter; the amplifier also comes with a custom-made, durable "live-in" rack case.
Due to its age (a 1974 unit), it naturally has a few flaws that do not significantly affect its operation: some pots are scratchy (easy fix), the "middle" pot for channel A is missing its knob (still usable, can be turned), and one of the line out jacks on the back is intermittent.
It can be tested and purchased in Budapest on Budafoki út, in a rehearsal room. I don't want to ship it; if you buy something like this, please do me the honor of coming here and trying it out. No trades.
