Unfortunately, my DB-2 overdrive has to go after my Sobbat DB-1 distortion, because I don't use it for anything (due to finishing (perhaps suspending) playing music). I have to say that the distortion was also something, but this is an even better pedal! TS-like sound, with two tone controls instead of one. With minimal gain, it can be used almost as a booster, or just to color the sound; and with maximum gain, a thick, textured drive sound can be coaxed out of this gem - so it's a versatile and easy-to-use product.

"Handmade in Kyoto, Japan" - so there's no doubt about its quality! It's in a completely different league than aftermarket TS9s. For this reason, and because my distortion sold for this price, and Sobbat pedals have been traded for more on the site before, haggling is not really an option. It's still well worth buying this miracle machine for this price!
