I'm not sure, and I don't want to write nonsense, but even if Sobbat stuff doesn't compete in the boutique pedal league, they only minimally fall short. ˝Handmade in Kyoto, Japan˝ - a handmade Japanese product, which I think says a lot about its quality. Contrary to its name, it's not just a distortion: at minimal drive, it produces a light overdrive sound, and when turned up, it provides distortion that is naturally not paper-thin. Very good - if not perfect condition, only two rubber feet are missing from the bottom -, and due to the simple design, even if it gets damaged, it's not very noticeable, so the Japanese thought of this well too. It also looks good - to my greatest regret and annoyance, their phaser doesn't feature this lovely sword-wielding lady. :(<br />In short: I think it easily beats Boss and Ibanez, so it's a very good choice in terms of price-value ratio.<br />And one more thing...
