This headphone is not a new model (manufactured between 1993 and 1995, predecessor to the currently available HD 600, uses the same driver as both types, only the appearance of the latter was changed), yet it is in like-new condition, visibly used little, mostly just sat in the closet. Its sound is precise, calm, detailed, balanced in all ranges, its bass is sufficiently deep and accurate, its treble is not harsh, in short, it has a true audiophile sound. I mostly listened to classical music with it. What I would also highlight is the soundstage size! You feel like you're sitting right in front of the orchestra, listening to the performance live... Naturally, a good headphone amplifier is recommended!
