Description
huendeskesRoland PK-5A MIDI controller for sale in perfect condition. Detailed description here: www.rolandus.com
1 octave, which means 13 dynamic pedals (!). Can be used in multiple modes (mono, poly, sound effects, drums, controller). The octave can be changed, and it can send program change and MIDI channel change messages. I used it with a synth module to play synth parts live while playing bass, but it can also control a sequencer, drum machine, effects, sampler, lighting, or even a coffee maker if it's MIDI compatible (there are lots of videos on YouTube showing what people use it for). It also has MIDI in/out/thru.
Brutally robust construction, I used it live for about 3-4 years, and it doesn't show it at all (seriously, there's not a scratch, mind you I took good care of it) :) It's comfortable, the keys are long, and easy to feel, so with a little practice, you can get used to its dynamics. There's one modification compared to the factory state: I taped white strips on the keys so they are clearly visible on a dark stage, but this can of course be removed.
It works with batteries or an adapter (adapter not included). I'll also include a Veiger soft case - I had it custom-made for this. Of course, the user manual is also included.
If you're not convinced you need this, let me tell you that people like these use it:
Billy Sheenan (www.rolandus.com
Geddy Lee / Rush (en.wikipedia.org
Adam Jones / Tool (en.wikipedia.org
Price: 85,000 Ft (its successor, the pk6, costs 900USD new (!), although it does about the same. Finding a used pk-5A on eBay for under 120,000 Ft is difficult - look it up!, so this is a very friendly price). Given this, I don't want to negotiate. No trades.
