Two-way: with an 18˝ (46cm) 600/1000W woofer and a 600/1000W 10˝ (25cm) midrange-tweeter (total speaker power 2,000W) with built-in crossover, in a wheeled, robust, bass reflex cabinet! Any cabinet with similar capabilities starts above 250,000, this is for demanding professionals, I don't need it anymore at 70 years old. (The speakers and crossover alone cost 130,000 Ft!) An empty cabinet of this quality (without speakers, crossover) cannot be made for less than 40,000 with its fittings! Price: 99,000 Ft. With a surcharge of 30,000 Ft, also with 1 year warranty! The problem with the currently fashionable 4x10˝ and 8x10˝ speaker cabinets is... (e.g.: Ampeg SVT 810E 800W for sale brand new for 260,000 Ft. 2013.01.11.) the problem is like a chain, which breaks at the weakest link and can be thrown away! If 1 speaker out of 8 fails, the whole thing is over; only perfectly identical speakers can be used in the same chamber (neither new nor repaired with the existing ones, because the balance between them gets upset and one fails even faster), meaning only with 8 new speakers can it be restored to original! In contrast, in the GIGABASS 2000, the 2 speakers work in separate chambers, so there can be no such problem!
