The collaboration between Peavey Electronics and Joe Satriani began in 2003. The result of their joint work was the JSX amplifier, literally branded with Joe Satriani's name. If the industry said that the Triple XXX represented the technical peak of its era upon its release, then this amplifier is one of, if not the best amplifier available on the market. In its construction, they took the clean channel of the legendary Classic amplifier and combined it with the improved distorted channels of the Triple XXX. The result is a very characterful, clear-sounding, and highly dynamic amplifier. Its special feature is the adjustable line output, to which another amplifier can be connected or a signal can be sent to a mixer, and the intelligent noise gate, which works very efficiently so that the loss of information in the original signal is almost imperceptible.
It's not hard to predict that the success started with the 5150 in 1991 and continued with the Triple XXX in 2002 will not be broken by this amplifier. It would be very difficult to find a better, more flexible tube head currently.
