Orange OR 120H 1974 guitar amplifier

Description

The amplifier`s internals have been completely restored, retaining the distinctive Orange sound of exceptional characteristics.

All capacitors, diodes, potentiometers (2 out of 4), resistors, sockets, wires, and cables have been replaced.

Rebuilt with original F&T Fischer und Tausche, Iskra and JJ NOS components. The two original potentiometers and the Carling bakelite switch have been preserved. The wiring has been re-done, replicating the original setup. Added alluminum shielding to lower the noise floor Substantially.

A ˝Master volume˝ mod has been done (reversible to factory), the HF Drive knob serves as volume and Gain is gain. Everything else follows the `74 schematic.

Russian Svetlana EL34 power tubes, Gold Lion 12AX7 preamp tubes.

The amp works flawlessly and it is ready to be played for another 50 years.
