Description
huendeskes40-year-old ash body, with walnut insert, neck-through (24 frets), with brass (fixed) bridge and nut, with Vintage DiMarzio (DP100, DP103) pickups (individually splittable). Japanese perfection itself. It has such sustain that you play it in the evening before sleep and still hear its decay during morning coffee. The guitar is original down to the last screw!
Contrary to the description, this is not a product of the still existing Oakland company, but a masterpiece from a Japanese manufactory about 40 years old.
I acquired it through a trade-in, I experimented with it a few times, but despite its incredibly good sound, there's no chemistry between us.
The guitar is a true vintage piece, I only found one similar model on a German site:
www.guitarmaniacs.de
Due to the brass hardware, its sound is quite chimey, you can hear it here:
And here's how it sounds with an AC/DC song:
Interested in trade for a Telecaster (Mexican Fender, higher-end Squier series, or other usable piece), an electro-acoustic guitar in a similar price range, or a TC Nova System (with value adjustment).
