For sale: an extremely rare and special instrument: Maxxas MX3 in Magma color (#F476327).
Made in Japan likely in '88 as an experimental Ibanez development, the ancestor of the first Steve Vai signature model. Main specs:
- Honduran mahogany body
- Semi-hollow construction
- Rosewood fretboard, maple neck, 22 frets
- IBZ USA F1/F2 pickups, HQ tremolo, 3-way switch
- Humbuckers can be split with separate switches

Exclusive quality guitar, very few made, with serious collector potential.
It has minor damages, as visible in the photos. Apart from the two small switches, it's original in every aspect. Original knob caps are also present with the tremolo arm, no case.
I've had it for 10 years, but I'd like to try something else, so I'm selling it, but trades and part exchanges are also possible.
