For sale is my British-made March 1998 Marshall Valvestate 100W tube preamp, three-channel (clean, overdrive 1, overdrive 2), loud and powerful (separate clean, separate overdrive) amplifier, along with its accompanying 140W 4x12 cabinet.

Details:

- Clean and overdrive channels have separate tone controls (bass, middle, treble)
- The second overdrive channel has a contour knob for finer tone adjustment
- The clean channel also has a 'tone shift' switch, which gives the amp a brighter, mid- and treble-rich sound
- OD1 and OD2 can be overdriven separately
- The amplifier comes with a footswitch for changing between the 3 channels. The footswitch has been converted from a fixed cable to a jack socket, making packing easier and preventing cable damage
- Separate 'power dimension' switch on the amplifier, which makes the sound denser, cutting the lows and highs
- If effects pedals/multieffects loop is connected to the amplifier, the FX mix/level can also be adjusted on the head
- On the back of the amp, there is a headphone out, two speaker outs, a footswitch in, return and send for the loop, and a line out for recording
- The amplifier, as I mentioned, has a tube preamp (currently a TAD ECC83 WA tube), which makes its sound much more similar to a JCM800 than a transistor MG100
- The cabinet contains the original speakers

The head and cabinet come with the footswitch and its approximately 4.5m stereo jack cable, a speaker cable, and another TAD ECC83 tube.

I am the second owner, I've had it for almost 5 years. It works perfectly, no crackling or sputtering, it does its job properly and without issues. The scratches visible on the back were from the previous owner, likely during transport.
Sold only as a set, as the cabinet sounds great with this head, and the head sounds great with this cabinet. Can be tested in Nagykőrös after prior arrangement.

Trades with cash on my end are primarily considered for a Marshall Lead 12 combo, but I'm open to other offers.
