The new DSL retains the classic Marshall tube sound of the previous flagship JCM2000, while having a different, classic yet modern look, modern features, and an excellent price.
Two channels, capable of everything from sparkling clean sound to extreme distortion. Both channels have selectable gain levels. On the clean channel, we can choose between clean and crunch sound with the switch, while on the ultra channel, between traditional lead and a more driven version of it.
In terms of features, it includes a new pentode/triode switch on the back panel, which halves the output power and adjusts the entire character of the sound accordingly. Another new feature is the tone shift button, which alters the mid-character of the amplifier, and a deep switch (replaced by a variable resonance pot in the 40 and 100 W models) for extra bass.
The amplifier also includes a high-quality reverb.
