Malekko is pleased to present the handmade, all-analog Wolftone SLOIKA pedal, designed by Todd Wolfgram. Locally screen-printed enclosure, components selected from around the world for their optimality - these characterize the pedal.



The SLOIKA is a unique distortion pedal that uses multiple distortion bands, thus simulating multiple amplifiers set to different gains. The SLOIKA is capable of very heavy distortion, but (like all Wolftone pedals) it is particularly musical and responds very well to the dynamics of the musician's playing.

The SLOIKA pedal is designed to create transparent distortion, so you can preserve the sound of your guitar and amplifier. This pedal does not impose any unpleasant masking on the tone of your gear. Whether it's a single or humbucking pickup, guitar playing is heard clearly and articulately in all cases, and with picking dynamics, you can easily modulate between soft and hard distortion effects. Want a clean sound? Just turn down your guitar's volume. The burnt-in distortion is only a function of turning up the guitar's volume or playing harder. With the SLOIKA pedal, a seamless transition from distortion to clean sound can be created while playing and sustaining a chord.

The SLOIKA consists of 8 parallel distortion bands. The interaction between the DRIVE and SATURATE parameters determines how the bands affect the input signal. You will hear the power of this pedal when used with a loud and clean amplifier.

The amount of DRIVE determines how strong the 8 bands are, and the volume and playing dynamics also control the distortion.
