For sale is my Mákos Amp bass guitar power amplifier, built for personal use in 2011.
It has 4 KT88 power tubes (Sovtek internal and Svetlana external pair), which can be driven in pairs. Thus, it operates with either 200 W or 100 W power; the question is, how much do you want to shake the walls. If one pair of tubes is nearing the end of its life, you can easily switch to the other pair, saving the gig, rehearsal, etc. Any impedance speaker cabinet can be connected (visible in the picture). A 2U rack space has also been created under the head, so the proper installation of the preamplifier (or preamplifiers!) is solved, plus you can install a tuner or voltage protection or whatever you want.
In one position, the two-position Hump switch on the head boosts highs and lows (cuts mids), and in the other position, it's the opposite.
Recently checked, measured, and tubes replaced by Master Mákos, this is a ready-to-use piece (more info on his website). Point-to-point wiring, handmade, professional item.

To avoid misunderstandings: this is a complete head, but it does not have a preamplifier section. The EQ and guitar gain cannot be adjusted. However, it can be used immediately with an EQ pedal.
If someone prefers the "one big button" approach, they can easily drive it with an active guitar.
