Description
Unfortunately, this is no longer available, but perhaps the Related offers may be of interest.
huendeskesLuxor Dreadnought 12-string, an excellent example from Japan's Lawsuit era guitars.
The Lawsuit era was when Japan produced copies of American guitars in the 70s, when they could copy with impunity. :)
This piece is a Matsumoku. One of the best instrument makers of the era.
Legendary Greco and Aria instruments also came out of this workshop.
Manufactured between 1974-79.
Essentially an exact copy of a Martin D12.
Spruce top, mahogany sides, back, and neck.
Rosewood fretboard. Truss rod works.
Thanks to the mahogany, it has very pleasant lows.
Uniform, resonant, but strong chord sound.
The instrument is in excellent condition. There are minimal signs of use and small pressure marks, but this is natural for a 40-year-old guitar.
Thin frets, like new with minimal wear!
It has a D-profile neck. A bit thicker, but playable with very low action!
The tuners have been replaced, so it holds tuning well.
Set up with brand new 0.10 Phosphor Bronze strings, clean and fresh!
Fully usable, stage and studio ready!
Check out my other similar old Japanese guitars too!
Shipping OK!
Or a trip to Sopron...
No trades, thanks!
Regards.!
