Description
huendeskesFor sale, original, American (Pasadena, California, Electro Music) wooden Leslie amplifier + speaker, from 1974 for Hammond organ, clone, synth, or even guitar. Electronically refurbished a few years ago (capacitor replacement, motor maintenance). With 4 wheels, two recessed steel carrying handles. Dimensions: 41˝ x 29˝ x 21˝, weight approx. 70 kg. The exterior is a bit worn from use and transport, but structurally and electronically flawless.
Originally a 710, but it has been converted to function as a 770 Leslie, meaning it has a wooden drum rotor at the bottom, rotating in the opposite direction to the horn. With a 50W power amplifier, passive, with an 800Hz Leslie crossover (#528).
It accepts a 1/4" jack input, and the control is handled by a four-pin connector, requiring only a completely passive switch. The control operates with low voltage, is completely passive from the outside (no electronics needed), and allows setting fast/slow/stopped speeds.
It can be connected directly to synthesizers and clones because it accepts a low signal level.
It also contains two oval stationary speakers, which are currently not connected.
Original Jensen V21 tweeter, original woofer, 16 Ohm.
It is possible to install a tube amplifier, thus converting it to a 122/147. (The crossover and speakers are already suitable for this)
Can be tested with an A100 or a Korg CX3.
