For sale is the vintage (late 70s) Lab Series L4 head shown in the pictures. Moog, Gibson cooperation. Two channels, tone control adjustable over a wide range, 200 watts. Lab Series produced amplifiers that were considered among the best solid-state heads back then. This one is equipped with the same preamp as used by BB King and Ty Tabor, just with a 200-watt power amp. It's not infinitely loud, but its clean headroom is sufficient in most situations. Since it has both preamp and power amp volume controls, it can be easily overdriven.

A reliable, serviced, beautiful piece. Only the back panel is not original; it was lost somewhere in the storms of time. High headroom, works well with pedals, but it has enough gain on its own for almost any style.
