The Pa1X Pro is the first instrument to utilize Korg's latest RX Technology, allowing for more refined, detail-rich, natural sound production. The Pa1X Pro features 62-note polyphony, 760 factory presets, and 512 user-programmable sounds. Also noteworthy are the 48 factory and 128 user drum kits. Four Master effects, each with 90 effect types, ensure perfect sound, complemented by the legendary TC-Helicon vocal effects.

The Pa1X Pro is also a true sampler, capable of reading WAV, AIFF, Korg, and Akai samples/multisamples. We can slice the sound samples to create new grooves and drum kits, which can then be modified with filters and internal effects when assigned to sounds. The instrument comes with 16 MB of memory, expandable to 32 MB.

Elaborate Styles
The Pa1X Pro includes 350 fully editable styles, created by the world's leading musicians, leaving room for hundreds more! Each style consists of eight accompaniment tracks, one or two for drums and bass, but all eight tracks can be used as if a full orchestra were behind you! Each style comes with four variations, three intros, two endings, three fills, one break, and one count-in. The Pa1X Pro continuously monitors the musician's playing and maintains perfect harmony with the accompaniment using its intelligent chord recognition system. New styles can be loaded or played directly from a floppy disk.

We can assign four sounds to the keyboard simultaneously, allowing us to play solo or in parallel with a style in real time. With the four STS (Single Touch Setting) functions, we can instantly recall and load new sound settings and kits – in real time – onto the performance tracks, according to the current style.

With the Songbook function, you can select a song from the vast user-compiled database, which can be immediately loaded with the appropriate sounds, style, tempo, key, and effects, allowing playback to start almost instantly! The 320 Performance storage locations allow us to store and recall a style along with its associated STS settings, transposition, scale type (Arabic, Stretch, Werckmeister, etc.), tempo, and other control functions with a single command.
