Sage Solid Walnut Germanium Fuzz Pedal

Completely handmade, primarily using hand tools. Barely used.

Inside, it features the classic Burns Buzzaround fuzz circuit. Built on a turretboard with high-quality components (Carling footswitch, Switchcraft jack inputs, 24mm ˝Marshall˝ potentiometers—built to last a lifetime).

It runs on two NOS Russian germanium transistors and one Tungsram AC125 germanium transistor.

The enclosure is routed from a single piece of solid american walnut and covered with copper foil on the inside for shielding. Key signal paths use shielded cables. The back plate is made of 2mm steel.



⚠ WARNING: This pedal operates with positive ground. It is highly recommended to use it with a battery (since there is no LED, power consumption is minimal, just a few mA, meaning a single battery can last for years).

It can also be powered by an external 9V PSU, but must be connected to an isolated power supply or have a dedicated power adapter. It cannot be used in a daisy chain setup with other pedals, as this may cause damage to both the pedal and the power supply.
