A true SG rarity from Japan, from the 1970s, from the pre-Gibson lawsuit era. It still has the "Open book headstock" like Gibsons, which was later changed.
In excellent condition for its age, Japanese made. Only a few minor scratches, which are not even visible in the photos.
Incredibly resonant aged wood, transparent sunburst finish, showing the wood grain well.
Everything on the guitar is original, the pickups are P90 single coil style, likely "Toaster" pickups, they have a very vintage sound!
The guitar has been professionally set up to Gibson standard, works flawlessly. No fret buzz, etc.
An excellent choice for blues!
