huenRei - overdrive with active mid boost
The pedal is based on the Ibanez ST-9 and Pearl OD-05 circuits, tailored to my own taste. It features relatively low gain and asymmetric clipping, and is capable of approximately +15 dB mid-frequency boost, with the center frequency controlled by the “Mids˝ potentiometer.
It was primarily designed to “push˝ high-gain amplifiers, but it also performs well on its own.
