These Isophon speakers were reliable, high-quality 10˝ (25cm) 50W, max 100W, 8 ohm speakers for West German guitar combos and Leslie cabinets. True, this one doesn't have the legend like a Celestion-equipped Marshall, which was created by the early drug-related death of Jimmy Hendrix, the crazy genius guitarist who even plucked strings with his teeth! I keep 1 piece of these in new condition with zero operating hours in my speaker collection, (I had a mania for comparison, that's why I bought as many different types as possible, I'm not interested in legends and advertisements, but in knowledge) from which I've gradually sold off the larger pieces for retirement supplement. Most of those visible in the 8-year-old picture have already been sold, the better-known ones are more in demand, which is often just the result of insanely expensive advertisements. If you are not satisfied with the sound of your cheap combo, listen to this one! They didn't produce ten thousand types of speakers back then like they do now, but the ones they did produce are still top-notch today, just expensive, like the original condition Jimmy-legendary Celestion Greenback 25W ones! This one is cheap now because it has no pair! You can listen to it in my test cabinet, bring your combo and guitar, and compare!
