Ibanez USATK.
-Handmade in the Ibanez American Custom Shop, limited edition, 500 pieces total, in 1995. Collector's item.
-A peculiarity of American ATKs is that the front of the body has a slightly different tone-color than the back.
In this case, green in the front, more blue in the back.
This is the case from the factory with other color options as well.
-The instrument was manufactured at the Bunker PBC factory, equipped with Dave Bunker's patented Tension Free Neck.
-The fretboard is flamed maple, and the headstock has a beautiful quilted maple veneer.
-The nut is brass, the tuners are Schaller, and the strings can be strung through the body.
-The electronics are original, Bartolini XTCT. 3-band EQ, active.
-The original pickup has been replaced with a German, handmade Bassculture ATK Replacement Musicman Pickup, made according to my own designs.
Birdseye maple casing, neodymium magnets, splittable.
These pickups are specially designed for the ATK, and many musicians modify their ATKs with them.
-Another special feature of the instrument is that the foil with the serial number and 'Made in USA' inscription is present on the headstock. Also, the small cover cap for the truss rod hole.
One of these is missing from almost every instrument, if such a used instrument is even available on the market.
-It strongly outperforms the Musicman Stingray in every aspect!
-I think this is the only unit in Hungary, and there are at most 1-2 in surrounding countries.
