For sale due to downsizing my collection, a very rare Ibanez acoustic-electric guitar made in 2002.
This guitar model was made in memory of Masao "Masa" Hoshino, who was the president of Ibanez from 1981 to 1984. This alone testifies to the guitar's quality, knowing that it was made to honor a leader who contributed greatly to the recognition and quality of Ibanez guitars.
Its full name is: Ibanez FX 72 MASA COMMEMORATIVE (not to be confused with the Ibanez SX 72 model, which is a commercial reissue. The difference lies in the materials used and the headstock inscription. Reissues have a pointed lower horn.)
The body and neck are mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. Its specialty is that besides the Fishman Sonicore Bridge Pickup, it also includes an AP2 Magnetic pickup. With the AAEQ3MX Active EQ (3-band) you can control the ratio of the two pickups, making it suitable for any style (except metal).
What's interesting about this guitar is its serial number: SQ 02041456
This serial number cannot be identified. If we remove the 'Q' character, it turns out the guitar was made in Korea, as can be read in one of the pictures. At that time, I wrote to Ibanez and they replied that a few units were made in Korea as final pieces, and they were the benchmark for starting production in China.
This is indicated by the 'Q' (Quality) mark.
I will include a "bombproof" hard case with fabric cover for an additional 10,000 Ft.
Since I haven't used it in a while, it needs new strings.
As I am liquidating my collection, I am primarily interested in cash, but I am not opposed to trades either.
For trade, I would only be interested in a Cutaway classical guitar (nylon strings).
Primarily: Epiphone SST nylon Chet Atkins model, or similar solid-body, e.g., Crafter CT or CTK series, Cort Sunset NY.
Alternatively, a thick-bodied steel-string jazz guitar in this price range could also be considered.
In case of trade, of course, with value equalization. In this case, I am flexible on the price. (I don't mean half price).
I have already negotiated the selling price. I will not ship it; only after advance payment, at the buyer's full responsibility.
