Hello!
Guild... my favorite... :)
A little history:
The founder, Alfred Dronge, who came from a Polish family, was a musician himself, playing banjo and classical guitar. Later, he started playing jazz. A few years later, he opened a music store, gaining a deeper insight into the world of guitars. His good friend George Mann worked as a sales director at Epiphone and lost his job there. They then started a business together. Soon, they hired some skilled workers who were also laid off by Epiphone. Most of them wanted to stay in Philadelphia's Little Italy as they came from Italian dynasties. Thus, in 1952, they founded the company called Guild. Guild is not among the big companies today. Its name itself refers to the medieval "guild" principle, a small manufactory based on cooperation. They managed to preserve this to some extent, and even today, the finest guitars come out of their workshop.
Today it is owned by Fender, who wanted to make it accessible to everyone due to its high price, so they moved production to China.
Perfect instruments... under very strict American quality control.

This instrument is a former GAD series (Guild Acoustic Design) guitar.
Full solid wood instrument!
AAA mastergrade, meaning a solid spruce top with at least 20 growth rings per inch.
Solid, beautiful African mahogany sides and back.
One-piece mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
Very precise guitar.
Strong sound, resonant chord voicing, with the rich, warm lows of Jumbo guitars. Excellent sustain.
I made a video with it... please listen:

It has a professional German-made Shadow Sonic Nanoflex electronics installed, worth 200 Euros.
It comes with its own beautiful, professional Guild hard case.
There are a few minor scratches, a small dent on the top, a small imperfection on the fingerboard and headstock.... but nothing serious.
Frets are minimally worn... no buzzing... doesn't choke in any position!!
With new Martin 0.012 strings.... set up... low action!!
Shipping OK!
Or a meeting in Sopron...
No trades, thanks.
May the sun shine on you!!!
