TUSQ is a material with excellent resonance transfer, developed by the Canadian company Graphtech. They advertise it as 'Man made ivory'. It's one of the best materials on the market!

The other set I bought instead is also made of this material. After installing it, my guitar produces a much longer sustain and richer overtones than with the original plastic set!
