Furman engineers developed the cost-effective Merit series to filter out noise caused by mains, radio frequency, and electromagnetic interference, which protects expensive equipment (digital mixer, playback device, dynamics/effects rack, instrument/microphone preamp, DJ equipment) from damage caused by surges and voltage fluctuations in the power line. It has 11 instrument output connectors (10 rear and 1 front). The front panel features a "Protection OK" LED indicating the device's proper operation. Also on the front panel are two pull-out LED lamps with a dimmer. Its load capacity is 10A.
