For sale is a Japanese 1986 Fernandes PJ bass guitar, in characteristic roadworn condition after 31 years of use, with a nice vintage Precision tone. Re-strung with Ernie Ball 45-105 strings. Surprisingly slim and set up, with a thin 'Japanese' neck.
Reason for selling: I bought a 5-string bass guitar here on GS and I'm perfectly happy with it + I have more and more guitars lying around (this one makes 9).

Bolt-on extremely slim Maple neck (compared to Fenders, it starts like a Jazz Bass but doesn't widen like theirs - typical for Japanese guitars)

Fernandes P and J pickups
Fernandes bridge, with brass saddles; also a brass nut.
2 volume and 1 tone control
20 medium, recently refretted and profiled frets.
Gotoh tuners.
Roadworn - 31-year-old black finish.
