Fender 1998 body

Up for sale is a USA Fender 1998 pickguard and body, with a Wilkinson, high-mass tremolo system... The pictures speak for themselves... The paint has worn off in a few places on the body, this does not affect the sound, and it adds a bit of vintage look to the thing. The body itself is solid alder... I replaced the tremolo with a Wilkinson, those who know the brand know that this system doesn't go out of tune during use (this is not a cheap Chinese part, it was ordered from America, it only contains USA parts, the tremolo system itself cost 38 thousand originally)... Each of the pickups is high-output, you can get everything from a bright chime to a deep bass tone, depending on how you set the tone control. It delivers the typical "oldschool Fender" sound very well. By the way, as you can see in the pictures, they have a metal base, reinforcing them a bit... The pickguard itself with the pickups weighs almost a kilogram... One more thing that might be noticeable is the notch on the pickguard... I bought the instrument with a classic series 60's neck, but it was very uncomfortable for me, so I sold it... As a result, the previous owner modified the pickguard to accommodate the neck adjustment access, but as you can see, it's not a "shoddy" job... They did the decoration tastefully and beautifully... The body with the hardware weighs a total of 3.8 kg... All in all, I've set a quite reasonable price for it, I could ask more for it... Unfortunately, the backplate is missing, I bought it that way too...
