huendeskes
Custom-built preamp/overdrive/presence booster for a project for sale.
The most important information: it has 6.3mm jack connectors; it runs only on battery (9V); it has NO bypass, so if you turn it off, it won't sound; it amplifies in the range of approx. +9..+36 dB, adjustable with the knob.
About its sound:
When not turned up too high, the sound is quite linear, based on experience it slightly boosts around 5 kHz, otherwise it's neutral. This proved quite good for guitar.
When turned up high, it audibly distorts, which I find ugly on guitar, but sounds very cool for vocals when used with a microphone. If this is what you need, it's an excellent choice. :-]
It's also good for microphones (as long as the jack connector isn't an issue), if it's not turned up to maximum, it has a nice clean sound.
I'll include a 9V battery. :-]
