The architecture of the Mopho is completely identical to the parameters of one voice of the world-famous classic Prophet '08, with some super functions added, such as the sub-octave generator per oscillator, which nicely enriches bass sounds and adds body to lead-like sounds. The other function is an audio input, allowing external sound sources to be passed through the filter, but also mixed with the Mopho's own sound before the filter, allowing for extremely unique sounds.
The "Push It" button on the interface is a manual trigger button, which can be used to play a specific note or an arpeggiated phrase in latch mode, or even step-by-step melodies from the step sequencer by re-triggering the button, thus without a keyboard.
The Mopho can accordingly be played from a MIDI controller or an external sequencer.
Sound programming can be fully operated from the interface.
A free editor software is included for Mac and Windows. If you happen to have a Prophet '08 at home, most of the identical parameters can be instantly adjusted on the Mopho via MIDI connection to the Prophet.
