The Tetra is nothing more than four Mopho units. The Tetra has multiple personalities, it can be conceived as a four-voice polyphonic analog 'mini Prophet' synthesizer, or thanks to its four-part multitimbrality, as four separate monophonic synths. All parameters are accessible and editable from the user interface. It includes VST integration! Most encoders are stepped, except for the Cutoff and Resonance potentiometers. The 'Push It' is the manual trigger button known from the Mopho interface, with which a specific note, or an arpeggiated phrase in latch mode, can be triggered, or even the notes of the step sequencer step by step when we trigger the button again, i.e., without a keyboard or external controller. Its output can be mono, stereo, or mono per voice via the 4 outputs, and of course, there is also a headphone output. MIDI in and out works analogically as well as via USB. The architecture is based on the Prophet '08, but with an additional sub-octave generator per oscillator and a feedback loop (which can produce distortion and completely crazy harmonics). The sub-oscillator enriches bass tones beautifully and adds body to lead-like sounds. So, per voice: two oscillators with classic analog waveforms (+hard sync), a white noise generator, an adjustable classic Curtis low-pass filter with adjustable 2/4 poles (also per oscillator), 4 LFOs, a 16x4 step sequencer per program, an arpeggiator, what else is needed? I include everything. Box, cables, patch banks.
