jFET bass overdrive, from overdriven tube-like tones to distortion, lovers of vintage and modern bass sounds will find their suitable tone. An internal DC converter generates the 15V power supply, ensuring sufficient headroom. In addition to the basic sound, the boost switch provides extra gain and a presence-rich tone with minimal volume increase (which, however, only affects the distorted "channel" before the mix). With the "Blend" pot, you can mix your distorted sound with the original signal of your instrument to any extent, thus preserving its character. A three-band EQ - with parametric mids - ensures that any tone can be set. Furthermore, there is an option to adjust the tone before and after distortion, still before the mix, using two microswitches: the left one (scoop) boosts highs with a strong mid-cut after distortion, while the right one (bass cut) cuts lows before distortion. Logically, you then mix in the "bottom" of the sound with the "blend" pot. This results in a "more modern" distortion. If you leave this switch in the "off" position, the distorted "channel" itself has enough low-end range, even without mixing in the clean signal, which is more characteristic of deep, fuzzy tones of overdriven bass amps.
