This is thanks to the built-in limiter, which operates imperceptibly and without pumping during overload. The back of the speaker has several setting options, allowing for various applications, such as: Sub/No Sub setting, microphone, line level, or instrument input. The speaker is three-way, and with its 8-inch woofer, it can produce surprisingly deep sounds, making it very usable even when driven full-range. The sturdy metal grille, the extremely stylish red-edged cone, and the compact design all contribute to the speaker's strengths. Paired with the CVA-118 or CVA-121 subwoofers, the CVA-28 holds its own well in smaller and larger clubs, bars, and PA systems.
