This Boss GT-Pro, which I've had since 2013, is for sale. I replaced a GT-8 with it back then, and this one truly contains PRO features compared to the floor version. I've used many rack guitar effects, and this is a very well-thought-out system with numerous possibilities, rightly considered a top solution in its time. I currently use a Helix Rack actively.

It functions as a USB audio interface, controllable with a downloadable Editor (even the tuner appears in the software), and has official drivers up to Windows 8.1. It also has two effect loops, one mono and one stereo, but the latter can be freely configured as two mono effect loops. The elements of the effect chain can be freely moved, with no restrictions on the order. It offers full external controllability; besides MIDI, I controlled it with SYSEX messages, which could even rewrite the display if desired. The internal processor can be powered from the front guitar input or even via USB (for reamping). It has independent stereo outputs (main, sub) where we can control what is mixed.

Nowadays, using IR impulses for cabinet simulation is a popular solution. While this unit didn't have this capability, it can be easily expanded by connecting a Mooer RADAR pedal to the effect loop. In my opinion, the amplifiers/effects are dynamically very usable, so with such a tuning, it can be an excellent companion.
It has extremely innovative features, such as a solo boost option within the amplifier block, which provides boost in both volume and tone. We can also save user settings per effect block, making favorite effect settings easily reusable.

The rack works perfectly; signs of use due to its age are naturally noticeable.
