Description

For sale, a Levinson Blade B-25 ultra jazzbass bass guitar in excellent aesthetic and technical condition, with a hard case. This guitar is a true rarity; I know of only one other example in Hungary; made in Japan in 2004, with a registered serial number (I received information directly from the company owner).

Blade instruments are designed by master craftsman Gary Levinson, an American living in Switzerland, who has been creating since the 1960s. The sought-after top models (only the B-25 for bass guitars) are manufactured in Japan. They are exclusive, modern instruments with a vintage Fender Jazz Bass tonal character, matching Sadowsky and Lakland quality in terms of sound and design.

Features:
- Extremely versatile sound: classic jazz bass character, Miller slap tone, powerful bridge pickup, powerful neck pickup
- 2 Blade JS-2 Alnico single-coil pickups, 2-band BVSC-2 active electronics: volume/pan/treble/bass
- Exceptionally easy to play, extremely comfortable 34" neck profile and perfect fretwork; every note rings out evenly, 18mm string spacing
- Very tight low B string with great sustain

The market price of this instrument is around 1600-1800 EUR (500-550 thousand Ft).
It comes with new strings, set up, and an ultra-durable hard case.

Trade-ins or exchanges are possible for a good offer (Japanese, American bass guitars - no other types, thank you).

I am rarely available by phone, but I respond quickly to emails. Thanks for looking! : )

Sound sample:
Recorded directly from the line with minimal compression in this order:
- Bass solo: bridge pickup / both pickups
- Accompaniment: pick both pickups / slap both pickups / finger neck pickup / finger both pickups / finger bridge pickup
