For sale Blackheart BH5H 5W tube head
I modded the amplifier myself (professional work!), its sound is 100x better than the factory one.
It has a distinctly Marshall-esque sound. It can do AC/DC and similar sounds right out of the box, but with a bit of boost at the front, it sounds like pure Van Halen. I've used it for studio recordings so far, it's a great sounding head.
There's also a sound sample uploaded here if I'm not mistaken. It only has a Boss GE-7 in front of it (as a boost), but no other tricks in the recording. Greenback cabinet, SM57, this is how it sounds.
In its factory state, the sound is nowhere near as usable, I worked on it a lot. It received quality components (Mallory capacitors, etc.). The 5W/3W switch is also much more usable than factory.
By the way, don't let the 5 watts fool you, it can get quite loud. It's loud enough for a small pub or similar venue for a gig.
Currently has JJ tubes, in good condition.
The only reason for selling is that I'm upgrading to a bigger head.
Can be tried/picked up in person in Esztergom, but I can deliver it to Budapest or anywhere along the Esztergom-Győr line upon request.
