The AMX mixers are the perfect solution for smaller applications. During the design, special care was taken with the color-coding of the mixer surface, so all functions are easily distinguishable even in poor lighting. On the smaller models, the Master volume control is a large rotary dial.

Despite their small size, AMX mixers have several features rarely found in models of this category. These include an extra microphone input on one stereo channel (on some models), a volume control on the Tape input, a sensitivity control on the Stereo return input (so it can be used as an additional channel), and a three-band EQ on all mono and stereo channels.
