The JS2K, also known as the JS2K Planet or simply the Y2K, is a JS series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2000. It is a signature model of American guitarist Joe Satriani which was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The JS2K is a special limited edition model issued to commemorate the new millennium; just 200 were produced. It has a unique crystal acrylic body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with a luminous dot position markers including a special inlay at the twelfth fret and luminous side dots. Components include a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups mounted in a illuminant clear mounting rings wound with special clear insulated wire on clear bobbins, and Gotoh tuning machines. The headstock features an illuminant plate and the cavity covers are of a similar material. To finish off the effect clear insulated wires are used throughout. Controls consist of Satriani`s usual configuration including a push-pull high pass filter on the volume and a push-pull coil split on the tone pot.

A certificate of authenticity engraved on a metal plate is included along with a black hardshell case with plush purple lining along with a chromed Planet Waves strap, a flexible pick guard and the usual documents and ˝case candy˝.
