One such Gibson special order is ES 175. Factory Trans Cherry, tons of extras !!!! Bound holes, knit headband, L-5 Ebony flap, custom size tag, of course original, unopened PAF !!! off. Fantastic appearance and sound. The back of the neck was refined because it was worn or uninterrupted, inline intact. Original Black grainy granular material.

In 1969, prior to Norlin acquiring Gibson for a CMI (Chicago Musical Instruments), a Gibson made a series of changes, including changing the headband from 17 to 14, replacing a three-piece jumper instead of a piece mahogany and the addition of a neck pump. In the middle of the ES-175 and the 1970s, these changes were largely rescued. In 1976, a three-piece maple neck replaced the one-piece mahogany neck, added a rib and replaced a wooden bridge to the Nashville Bridge.
